| Sandra Harris,
author of the Creation Kids Curriculum series,
holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology and
Sociology (double major) and a Masters degree in
Curriculum and Instruction. She also earned an
Associates degree in Early Childhood Education
and has spent most of her life working with this
age group. The
primary goal of the Creation Kids Curriculum is
to teach children about God and his creation
through hands-on activities in a way that
facilitates intergenerational learning. Each
lesson has a list of enrichment ideas, enabling
parents and teachers to adjust the curriculum to
meet the needs of their children.
God's Animals, a 26-lesson
unit, introduces the alphabet while teaching
about character development. This series was
inspired, in part, but the children's devotional
books written by William Coleman (published by
Bethany House).
